Check out this video of our Stock Blitz. It’s free to the public.
View time: About 10 minutes
I’m in Chicago visiting family and staying near Wrigley Field. We arrived this morning and were able to walk to the corner and cheer on the runners in the Chicago Marathon. 35,000 dedicated runners…amazing. My wife has run this race twice so it was great to be a part of the excitement.
I’m going to set a timer for 10 minutes and review the stocks that I have screened. These symbols are ones that are checking the boxes of our SquiggleTrader system. This helps me see what is working and gives me a good focus list. I’m not recommending them. I am using these as training so you can hopefully see what I see.
It’s important to check the trend on the major market index and the sector that applies to the position we are reviewing. Example… if I am looking at a large U.S. bank, I’ll check out the trend on the large company U.S. market of the S&P500 (I use the SPY ETF). Then I’ll check out the trend on the large financial institutions (I use the XLF ETF). I will write down the results in my trading journal. This helps me to build my trade story if there is one.
Feel free to ask questions. I encourage you to offer to teach this to someone. This is called the Protégé Effect and it’s powerful. This is how we will keep this costs down.
