Markets Update – Long and Short

Visibility: Public

Read/Watch Time: 25 minutes

There’s so much going on.

Debt ceiling, Out-of-control government spending, Bank failures, Inflation, Wars, Politics, Social issues, Artificial Intelligence, Higher interest rates, and declining corporate earnings are among the significant considerations.

Isn’t it nice that we follow price? We can find things to go long/buy and we can find things to go short/inverse.

There are a handful of stocks that are keeping this market afloat. Most of them are involving some promises of a bright future with AI.

Other markets like financials, energy and small cap stocks are showing weakness. Plus, China and Europe are showing some signs of slowing as well.

Then, there is the stronger US Dollar that could be the canary in the coalmine. It’s never dull.

It’s best to be agnostic. There are so many narratives thrown at us from different news and media sources. Some say to be Bullish. Some say to be Bearish.

We say “Follow Price”.

Feel free to teach this to your family and friends. You’ll learn it a lot faster. We appreciate the referrals.

BTW… In the video I mentioned a specific bearish Japanese candlestick formation. It’s actually called a “Shooting Star”. Here a link to a brief video of that: https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=bearish+reversal+candlestick&mid=11EBDC53215BC9DF62AB11EBDC53215BC9DF62AB
