Thanks for tuning in.
Imagine that you work for a great company that repairs car windshields. Every knows their jobs and does them well.
Then your boss/owner calls a mandatory meeting for all employees.
In that meeting the boss informs everyone that, starting tomorrow, we will be a bakery that specializes in blueberry pies. Your company would be in chaos.
When the leaders of the world call a mandatory meeting and say, starting tomorrow, we will use (or consume) much less fertilizer, natural gas, cows, pigs, oil, etc…
Your world would be in chaos.
Our goal as traders is to find ways not to lose money on this extreme transition and hopefully make some trading/investing profits.
Less supply + continued demand = higher prices. This is simple economic math but it works. Change the formula and see.
More supply + continued demand = lower prices.
Same supply + lower demand = lower prices.
This is how markets work. One big X Factor in this formula is Chaos. If the goal is to destroy demand and continue to reduce supply, Boom.
This can cause rapid change leading to extremes.
